![]() ![]() ![]() For the time being, I have a batch file that will end the process and start the process, on Windows Task Scheduler, I have this set to run every 12hrs, which has helped a little, but I still wake up some mornings to my desktop being locked up again. Part of me has been considering just figuring out how to make rclone work in Windows, but I've already paid a lot of money for the 3 user license, and I'd like to get the most out of ExpanDrive.ĭoes anyone know what's causing it to lock up my computer? Are there any settings or anything? I'm running on an 8th gen i7, 32GB of RAM, and an NvMe SSD, but ExpanDrive sometimes brings my computer to its knees. When ExpanDrive starts to lock everything up, it scares me a little that my folder upload might be interrupted, but I've found that simply ending the ExpanDrive process, or just quitting the application will bring my computer back to working normally. I've been using chrome to upload old folders instead of ExpanDrive as I've found the process way too slow and more difficult to keep track of, so I've been incrementally uploading my 20TB archive of older projects to Google Drive. My ExpanDrive mount appears as an exfs mount when I use the df command: ubuntuplexserver-vm > df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use Mounted on udev 7681256 0 7681256 0 /dev tmpfs 15390100 1. I'm having quite a difficult time doing this. It's odd, because it'll lock up both windows explorer and often times it'll also lock up Chrome. I've created a Linux box in the cloud, and want to be able to host a Plex Server there. ![]() It's been working fine on my laptop (which is also on Windows 10), however I've found it necessary to stop the process and re-launch ExpanDrive at least once a day on my desktop. The problem I run into is on my Windows 10 box. So one producer comes over to record and begins mastering a track, they get home and can pick up where they left off. It's incredibly convenient for me, as myself, and my 2 co producers are able to utilize G-Suite and ExpanDrive to sync content between studios. I'm using ExpanDrive across multiple computers for media production. ExpanDrive is a Network file system client for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows that facilitates mapping of local volume to any SFTP server the user can access. ![]()
